Look who's talking about Strap Tamers®!

"Great Job, Noël !"

Sara Blakely - The world's youngest self-made female billionaire and Inventor of Spanx®

"I love these! Can I get them for every member of my Studio Audience?"

Stacy London - Fashion Expert of "Fashionably Late" and "What Not to Wear".

It all started with "There has to be a better way…"

No matter where I went - theme parks, the mall, even church - exposed bra straps were everywhere! I kept wondering, "Just when did it become acceptable to fail to keep your undergarments under?”

This has always bugged me, but as my daughter rushed to leave for school one morning, I was floored to see (yes, right in my very home, right on my lovely daughter) visible bra straps! That did it. Someone had to help women fight this epidemic and reclaim our national sense of decorum.

In order for my daughter (or just about anyone else) to use it, the solution would have to be easy, comfortable and convenient.

Then, one bright, sunny morning in May 2004, it came to me... a pin with a built-in clip.
The pin attaches the clip to your garment and the clip allows you to slip your strap in and out of confinement easily. Best of all, you can leave Strap Tamers® in your clothing wash after wash! The clips stay in place, ever ready to tame your straps, and they're inexpensive enough to put in all of your favorite sleeveless clothes.

After exhaustive research and development, Strap Tamers® were perfected and ready for market. Then, in February, 2007, I was chosen to be a guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show as part of their Mom’s Who Made Millions episode! Our segment highlighted moms who, though not millionaires, were on their way!

Response to Strap Tamers® has been overwhelming as they are quickly becoming a “basic” of modern feminine attire.

"Ingenious!"

Step 2 -

With garment on and Strap Tamers® in place, slip bra strap into the clip. Adjust for comfort.

Step 1 -

Pin Strap Tamers® to inside shoulder seam of garment with clip opening facing neck of garment. (For boatneck styles, reverse clip direction.)

Other great uses

  • Strap Tamers have also been used to hold up strapless styles by pinning Strap Tamers clip to the interior side seams of the garment and slipping clip over the side edge of a strapless bra.
  • Many women, especially those who are pregnant, buy Strap Tamers so they can loosen their straps and improve circulation.
  • Joggers use them to hold headphone cords out of the way.
  • While we have received many positive responses regarding our product, we are especially touched by the kind words from women who have sloped shoulders, are elderly or have limited mobility. They find Strap Tamers® to be the only solution that works well for them.

Note

  • Strap Tamers are just over an inch long so for best look, shoulder seam should be slightly wider than Strap Tamer.
  • Though Strap Tamers are laundry-safe, it is recommended you remove them prior to having your clothes dry-cleaned.
